Preparation Before Use

  • Check to see if the product is the right model and comes with all necessary accessories.
  • Use the Nano SIM Card that supports a 4G network. Ensure the SIM card is not inserted in the device before it is powered off. Consult your local operator for specific details.
  • The SIM card must have GPRS and caller ID display functions activated.
  • Download and install the required app on your mobile phone. For app details, scan the bar code or QR code provided by your distributor.

Insert Nano Sim Card

  • Ensure the Nano SIM card supports 4G. The card should have caller ID, GPRS data, internet access and call functions activated.
  • Always insert the SIM card with the device powered off to avoid damage.

Turn the Device On and Off

  • To Power On: If the device is off, press and hold the power button until the device starts.
  • To Shut Down:
    • If connected to the app, the device can only be shut down remotely.
    • Access the settings interface for manual shutdown if the device has no SIM card or is not connected to the app.
    • Do not remove the SIM card while the device is powered on to prevent damage.

Device Introduction

Button Operation Instructions:

  1. Powering On
  • When the device is off, hold down the power button until the device powers on.

  1. Using SOS Function
  • Ensure the device is connected to the Internet and the SOS numbers are set via the app.
  • Press and hold the designated button to dial the first of three pre-set SOS numbers. If there is no answer, the device will automatically loop through the numbers twice.

    • Short press to returns to the previous interface.

  • Via QR Code
    • Scan the QR code provided to download the app. You can find this QR code in the app download interface on the device itself.

2. Registration and login

  • Follow the instructions within the app to register for a new account and then log in.

3. Bind the device with the App account

  • Log in and bind your device to your app account.”
  • Use the app to scan the QR code attached to the device.
  • If the QR code is missing, manually enter the 15-digit registration code found in the device’s app download interface.
  • Proceed to the binding settings to complete the setup.

Overview of Device Functions

Location and Tracking

  • Base Station, GPS, WiFi Positioning: View real-time location through the map in the app.
  • Footprint: Access historical tracking data.
  • Safety Area: Set up to three safety fences. Receive alarm notifications if the device exits the designated area.

Communication and Alerts

  • Alarm: Set up to three alarms.
  • Contacts: Store up to 15 phone numbers for calls and enjoy calls between other contacts through the device.
  • Voice Chat: Send voice messages and pictures through the app.

Camera and Multimedia

  • Camera: Access the camera to take photos.
  • Gallery: View, share, delete, or modify photos taken by the device.
  • Video Call: Initiate single or group video chats with up to 8 participants through the app.

Dialing

  • Phone Calls: Support for dialing and making calls. The app can enable or disable this function.

Device Settings

  • Volume Controls: Adjust media, alarm, ringtone, and call volumes.
  • Brightness and Screen: Manage brightness settings and lock screen options.
  • System Management: Access options for reboot, shutdown, and view device information (model number, version number, IMEI).

QR and Registration Code:

  • Tap to display the QR code on the device. Scan this code to download the Setracker2 app.
  • Tap to show the device to display the registration code needed to link the device to your app account.

Early Education:

  • Crazy Maths: Click on the interface and select “Start” to begin the game. Choose from three difficulty settings: Simple, Normal, Difficult. Adjust the difficulty by clicking the settings button within the game interface.
  • Children’s Early Learning: Explore four categories: Characters, Fruits, Animals and Vehicles.
  • Course Schedule: Click to view the course schedule from Monday to Friday in the app.
  • Making Friends:
    • In the interface, touch two devices together to make friends.
    • Successful connections light up the friend’s avatar.
    • This device can make up to four friends.
    • Tap your friend’s avatar to take voice chat or send voice messages and pictures.
    • Long press on a friend’s picture to delete them or on a message sent by a friend to delete individual or all messages.

 

Safety and Monitoring

  • SOS: Set three emergency contact numbers. In an emergency, press and hold the SOS button for 3 seconds to dial these numbers in a cycle, repeating twice if there’s no answer.
  • Remote Monitoring: Set this feature via the app. The device will dial a pre-set number (usually the parent’s), enabling one-way listening to the child’s surroundings.
  • No-Disturb Time: Set up to three time periods during which the device will block all phone calls and other sounds (effective Monday to Friday).
  • SMS Alert Setting: Manage whether the device sends SMS alerts for alarms. Standard SMS charge apply.
  • Account Visibility: Displays all family member accounts that are bound to the device.

 

Other Settings

  • Three working modes with a default to normal mode are available.
  • The device can be shut down remotely via the app when it is powered on and functioning normally.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Device cannot connect to the server upon first activation.

Steps to Resolve:

  • SIM Card Compatibility: Ensure the SIM card inside the device supports 4G.
  • SIM Card Activation: Verify that the SIM card is activated for data flow.
  • Server Parameters: Check that the server parameters including IP, APN, and the IMEI are correct. It is crucial that the IMEI barcode on the device matches the IMEI programmed into the device during production.
  • SMS Check: Customers can send the following SMS to the device to verify server connection: pw,123456,ts# (Ensure the SIM card is installed and the SMS is typed in the English input method).

Registration Issues:

Device Number Problems: If the device number does not exist or has already been registered, you must contact your distributor for resolution.

Account Already Registered: If you receive a prompt that the account has already been registered, try registering again with a different account.
